As a professional dog groomer in Everett, WA, we provide a number of services. One of the most common—and most overlooked—is dog nail trimming. While it may not seem like a big deal, keeping your pup’s nails trimmed is an important part of their overall health and comfort. Long nails can cause pain when walking, lead to posture issues, or even curl into the paw pad—ouch!
We recommend having your dog’s nails trimmed at least once a month. For some pups who spend a lot of time on soft surfaces like grass or carpet, their nails don’t wear down naturally, making regular maintenance even more important. Some dogs might need trims more often, and we’re happy to help you figure out what’s best for your pet.
At our grooming facility, we offer both traditional nail clipping and dremel (grinding) services. Clipping is quick and effective. The dremel, however, allows us to smooth the edges and get a bit closer to the quick without causing discomfort. If you’re unsure which option is right for your dog, we’re always happy to chat about it at your appointment.
The best part? A nail trim appointment only takes about five minutes! It’s a quick stop that can make a big difference for your dog’s well-being. We do ask that you schedule an appointment in advance. This helps us ensure a stress-free and timely experience for everyone—especially your pup.
For the safety of all our furry clients, we require that all dogs be up to date on their vaccinations, including rabies and distemper/parvovirus. This helps keep our grooming space safe and healthy for everyone.
Nail trims may seem like a small detail, but they’re one of the best things you can do to keep your dog happy and healthy. If it’s been a while since your last visit—or if you’ve noticed that click-click-click on the kitchen floor—it’s probably time to give us a call! We also offer discounted nail trims for just $10 at our regular events. Check our events calendar for the next opportunity!
