When Winston first came to us, his anxiety meant a bath was about all he could comfortably manage. Nail trims, drying, and face work were simply too much. Pushing further wouldn’t have been fair to him—and we don’t believe a clean dog is worth a stressed dog.
So we slowed things down and focused on building trust from one visit to the next.
Now, Winston stands calmly for the dryer, allows nail trims, and stays relaxed for face work. The goal wasn’t to get everything done on day one. It was to help him become more comfortable with grooming over time.
