Q. Where are some great places to walk my dog in Snohomish County?
Yost Memorial Park, 9535 Bowdoin Way, Edmonds: Native vegetation including numerous types of trees (red alder, Western red cedar, Western hemlock and big-leaf maple) plus a stream winding past the fallen logs towards the Puget Sound is what makes this park unique. Signage is limited so download a trail map beforehand. Along your journey, you will notice the boardwalks can be slippery after a rainstorm and the gravel path may be rutted and/or uneven. Two things to look forward to: (1) trails are approximately a quarter-mile and (2) you may see numerous amphibians, birds, insects, and even salmon!
