Mid-Day Dog Walker Position
Tailored Pet Services’ dog walking team provide exercise and companionship to furry clients mid-day (normally, 10am-2pm) while their humans are at work. Mid-day dog walkers structure walks based on weather and/or dog’s ability, pick-up/dispose of poop and stay alert to possible dangers.

- Like driving 100-200 miles per week.
Dog Walkers are paid $15/hour (no mileage)
To land this gig, you must LOVE both dogs and cats (some of our canine clients have feline friends living in the home). A reliable car and cell phone with internet access is necessary so you can drive to/from assignment and send photos to client via text/email. You need to be physically able to (1) sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, for up to periods of an hour; (2) lift, carry and otherwise move up to 50 pounds, (3) walk 3-10 miles per day, and (4) control dogs up to 100 pounds. Because you will have access to clients’ keys and alarm codes, passing a federal background check is a must.
