I was born in Battle Creek, Michigan and I have a younger sister and brother. During my childhood, I moved from Michigan to San Jose, California ending up in Bellevue, Washington in the 7th grade.
After graduating from Newport High, I continued to move around. Stops included Mazatlan, Mexico for 6 months and Fairbanks to work on the Alaskan pipeline. Working in Prudoe Bay (very northern part of Alaska on the Arctic ocean) was extremely cold (temperatures were in the minus 60 degrees) so I was glad to move to Anchorage for a couple of years. After Alaska, I still was not done exploring. I ended up living in Maui, HI for 20 years where I began cat sitting.
Fifteen years ago, I returned back to Seattle to help raise my nieces and nephews. I brought three chows and 2 cats, Gracie and Nicky with me. The chows were named Angel, Lucci, and Hugs. I loved them and found them to be great companions. When they got older, I adopted a shitzu-poodle, Max. They all got along wonderfully. After they passed, I got Max his very own Bishon-Cavalier Duchess. They have become the best of life partners and Duchess is 11 and Max 12 now.
I have been providing in-home dog boarding for almost four years and Max and Duchess are very good with the furry babies I bring into the house. I have also had my own cats for 35 years and currently have two: Kitty Carlisle (3) and B.B (12). I love cat personalities and temperaments and I have had many great experiences with them over the years. My dogs and cats have always gotten along and I love to watch them frolic.
Over the years, I’ve had many different professions: dog groomer for 2 years and medical transcription at Autumn Days (adult family home). I’m happy to now be working for TPS, as both a boarder and kitty nanny. I look forward to meeting you and your furry babies soon.
